It includes the original game with some improvements and a swathe of new content that expands the experience. If you’ve not picked up a copy of Warrior Orochi 3 in any form before then this re-release is definitely for you. The Tale of the Latter Day follows on from the defeat of of Hydra and provides some additional insight into the world of Warriors Orochi as does Tale of the Former Day which explains Orochi’s origins. We’ve reviewed the Wii U version and what you’re getting with this updated version is essentially the same game with a few new bells and whistles and no GamePad functionality. Now Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is available for PS3, PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One. Then for Wii U in December of that same year with the subtitle Hyper.
